The South Rosedale Residents’ Association is joining with neighbouring residents’ associations to host a University-Rosedale (Ward 11) candidates’ debate on Wednesday, October 3rd.
This is your opportunity to hear from four of the candidates running for a City Council seat in the October 22 municipal election, in the newly created Ward 11. Our neighbourhood, and the city as a whole, face important local issues including heritage preservation; development pressures and municipal planning; public safety and policing; ravine restoration and green spaces; public transit; traffic and parking; and other matters.
This is your opportunity to learn where the candidates stand on the issues most important to you.
Four candidates have been jointly selected by the host organizations to participate in the debate. They are:
- Mark Cormier;
- Mike Layton;
- Joyce Rowlands; and
- Nicki Ward
Any other candidates attending the event will be introduced by the emcee.
Please join us for this debate. It’s Your Neighbourhood, Your Vote.
Date & Time – Wednesday, October 3, 2018, 7 to 9 p.m.
